Maintenance Technician – Altana

About the role

The Maintenance Technician – Altana will perform technical and mechanical work to keep the building, grounds, amenities and common areas of a stabilized 507‑unit property in Glendale, CA, meeting Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident service requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and repairing them in accordance with company policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Carry out the “make‑ready” process to prepare units for new residents, ensuring all systems are operational and the property is presented to Greystar’s quality standards.
• Respond to on‑call duties and be available for weekend work as required to maintain uninterrupted property operations.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of related maintenance or mechanical experience.
• Ability to work weekends and be on call.
• Eligibility for a 20 % housing discount as a Greystar employee.
