About the role

Join R+L Carriers as a Local CDL‑A Truck Driver in New Orleans, earning $32.39 per hour on a full‑time schedule (Monday‑Friday, various shifts). Drivers return to the terminal each night, enjoy paid time off after 90 days, and have access to exclusive employee resorts.

Key responsibilities

• Perform city delivery and pickup of freight with multiple stops each day.
• Use scanning equipment to track shipments and interact directly with customers.
• Complete lift‑gate deliveries using an electric pallet jack when required.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A with at least 1 year of verifiable experience within the past 3 years.
• Clean driving record (no serious violations, ≤3 moving violations in 3 years) and age 23 (or 21 with FMCSA military transition).
• Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and road test; capable of bending, lifting, and stooping safely.
• Dependable and able to operate equipment safely at all times.

Required skills

• Proficiency with scanning equipment.
• Experience operating an electric pallet jack.
• Haz‑mat handling knowledge (preferred).
