Litigation Paralegal

About the role

The Litigation Department at Walt Disney World seeks a proactive Paralegal to support a wide range of lawsuits and legal matters affecting Walt Disney World Parks and Resorts and Disney Cruise Line. You will work closely with internal teams and outside counsel to ensure timely and accurate legal responses.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate company responses to third‑party subpoenas and court‑ordered legal processes such as UCC liens and wage garnishments.
• Handle consumer and government agency correspondence, including reviewing and responding to intellectual‑property related consumer letters.
• Assist in evaluating new lawsuits, supervising document retention, and assigning case work.
• Support the revision of discovery documents and pleadings for accuracy and completeness.
• Gather documents and information from internal business areas and outside counsel to meet court deadlines.
• Participate in trial preparation, monitoring, and reporting.
• Draft case correspondence and manage departmental administrative duties.
• Maintain calendars, deadlines, and other case management tools.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in a law firm or in‑house legal department.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong interaction skills across various corporate levels.
• Proven ability to manage case calendars and meet strict deadlines.
