About the role
We are a highly respected and rapidly growing alternative investment firm seeking an experienced Legal Assistant / Executive Assistant to support senior members of our Legal team in New York. This hybrid role offers the chance to work in a collaborative, high‑performing environment with strong culture and long‑term growth.
Key responsibilities
- Manage complex calendars and scheduling for multiple senior legal executives.
- Coordinate internal and external meetings, calls, and logistics, including conference rooms and virtual meeting details.
- Prepare, edit, and distribute meeting materials, presentations, and legal documentation.
- Assist with legal, governance, and transaction‑related administrative processes.
- Maintain organized records, files, and confidential documentation.
- Support compliance and onboarding administrative tasks.
- Partner with investment, operations, investor relations, HR, and legal teams across the firm.
- Arrange domestic and international travel and process expense reports.
- Contribute to ad‑hoc projects and team initiatives as needed.
Required profile
- 4+ years of executive support experience, preferably in financial services, private equity, investment management, or an in‑house legal environment.
- Experience supporting senior executives or legal professionals.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities with strong attention to detail.
- High level of discretion handling confidential information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self‑starter with a proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
Required skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
