Leasing Professional – Garden Community in Cary, NC

About the role

The Leasing Professional will coordinate marketing, leasing and renewal strategies for Tradition at Stonewater, a garden‑style community in Cary, NC. The role focuses on achieving occupancy, revenue and resident‑retention goals through full‑cycle leasing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, process applications, perform credit and background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, ensure readiness, and coordinate any maintenance issues.
• Develop and implement short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, including resident referral, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, and manage resident data.
• Maintain show units and marketing corridors to company standards and prepare the leasing office for daily activities.
• Support lease renewal program by preparing renewal letters, contacting residents, and ensuring timely execution.

Required profile

• Must hold all state and local licenses/certifications required for leasing.
• Valid driver’s license required to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance) and work in all weather conditions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Experience using internet marketing tools including Craigslist, Facebook and email campaigns.
