Lead Salesforce Developer

About the role

The Lead Salesforce Developer will be the technical expert responsible for designing, building, and maintaining Salesforce solutions for all BusPatrol teams. Based in Austin, this role balances simplicity with the delivery of complex, high‑value use cases across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Flow, applying a low‑code‑first approach where appropriate.
• Build and optimize contact‑center capabilities, including omnichannel case management, CTI integrations and agent productivity tools for high‑volume environments.
• Deliver Field Service Lightning features such as work‑order management, scheduling optimization, dispatcher workflows and mobile workforce enablement.
• Implement integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems (ERP, ITSM, telephony, data platforms) using APIs, middleware and event‑driven architectures (Platform Events, CDC).
• Contribute to AI‑driven automation initiatives leveraging Einstein, Agentforce and LLM‑based workflows with proper guardrails.
• Partner with Embedded Admins and cross‑functional teams to provide production support, troubleshooting and continuous platform improvements.

Required profile

• 7+ years of Salesforce development experience.
• Strong expertise in Apex, LWC, Flow, APIs and integrations.
• Hands‑on experience with Service Cloud and Field Service Lightning.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (Platform Developer II preferred).
• Proven ability to design scalable, secure and high‑performance Salesforce architectures.
