Human Resources Generalist

About the role

Gordon, Inc. is looking for a motivated Human Resources Generalist to support all HR functions at our Bossier City manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys collaborating with teams, and is dedicated to fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to source, screen, interview, and onboard candidates for manufacturing, technical, and administrative positions.
• Serve as a trusted resource for employee questions, support performance management, coaching, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
• Assist with benefits enrollment, leave administration, payroll support, and compensation processes.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and keep accurate employee records in the HRIS.
• Coordinate training programs and employee development initiatives.
• Contribute to HR projects such as policy development, employee engagement, ESOP communications, and metrics reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• 2–5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws (EEOC, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, etc.).
• Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Experience with APS Online and APS Hire is preferred.
• SHRM‑CP or PHR certification is a plus.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
