HR Business Partner Lead (BPHR) – Hartford, CT

About the role

Infosys is looking for an HR Business Partner Lead (BPHR) to support a defined business unit in Hartford, CT. This individual‑contributor role focuses on delivering core HR operations, employee‑lifecycle services, and day‑to‑day people‑management support.

Key responsibilities

• Execute core HR operations and manage employee‑lifecycle activities for the assigned population.
• Partner with managers to advise on performance management, employee relations and policy application.
• Implement unit‑specific performance management processes within established frameworks.
• Assist with employee onboarding, hiring and deployment in collaboration with recruiting and HR teams.
• Monitor compliance with employee governance processes and the code of conduct, escalating issues as needed.
• Prepare and maintain standard HR reports, analytics and metrics to support HR processes.
• Support periodic HR communications to ensure effective information flow.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent (or three years of progressive experience in lieu of each year of education).
• 5‑6 years of progressive HR experience, primarily as a generalist or business partner.
• Located within commuting distance of Hartford, CT or willing to relocate; able to work on‑site three days per week.
• Authorized to work in the United States without employer‑based visa sponsorship.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
