About the role
We are seeking a Geopolitics Analyst to join the Office of the President at Eurasia Group’s New York office. The role is writing‑ and research‑intensive, supporting the president, chief of staff, and editorial team across a variety of analytical products.
Key responsibilities
- Draft and edit written work across formats, including columns, client updates, long‑form essays, short‑form content, and press responses.
- Produce research briefs, talking points, and materials for speeches, panels, debates, and media engagements.
- Adapt analysis for social platforms, ensuring relevance for different audiences.
- Maintain regular dialogue with analysts to align Office priorities with the broader research platform.
- Handle ambiguous writing and research tasks with a bias toward action.
Required profile
- Exceptional storytelling ability in a journalistic style.
- Strong knowledge of current affairs, political science, and international relations.
- Broad intellectual curiosity covering political economy, economics, history, AI geopolitics, and the technology‑power nexus.
- Interest in literature, philosophy, art, science, and the history of ideas.
