General Manager – Luxury Hotel (Renaissance Dallas)

About the role

The Renaissance Dallas at Plano Legacy West Hotel is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead all aspects of property operations. Reporting to Marriott International, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving financial performance, and strengthening the brand’s market position.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business strategies that align with Marriott and Renaissance brand objectives.
• Oversee all operational areas including guest services, housekeeping, food & beverage, and engineering.
• Lead the property leadership team, set performance targets, and mentor staff for professional growth.
• Drive sales and revenue generation through Marriott sales engines and proactive local initiatives.
• Manage financial results, budgeting, forecasting, and profit‑and‑loss accountability.
• Build and maintain relationships with owners, local officials, businesses, and the community.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, health and safety regulations, and HR policies.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Hotel & Restaurant Management or related field with 8 years of relevant experience, OR a bachelor’s degree with 6 years of experience.
• Proven General Manager experience, preferably in boutique or luxury hotel environments.
• Demonstrated progressive career growth and a record of exceptional performance.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays and late nights.
