About the role
R+L Carriers is seeking reliable forklift operators to join our Shreveport service center. The role involves handling freight efficiently and safely in a busy dock environment.
Key responsibilities
- Move various types of freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long.
- Operate a forklift on a roofed, non‑climate‑controlled dock.
- Ensure accurate loading and unloading according to manifests.
Required profile
- Ability to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.
- Ability to read manifests and interact with a computer display.
- Dependable and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Required skills
- Forklift operation experience, preferably in a fast‑paced setting.
- LTL freight handling experience is a plus.
What we offer
- Starting pay of $22.63 per hour.
- Full‑time schedule, Monday‑Friday with various shifts.
- Earn one week of vacation after 90 days.
