About the role
Join Team Georgia as a Food Service Worker, providing line service and cashier duties in a part‑time capacity. This position supports the Department of Public Safety by preparing and serving food and beverages to staff and visitors.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages.
- Perform line server and/or cashier duties, handling cash transactions.
- Work any shift as needed, covering a flexible schedule across the United States.
- Maintain standing for long periods and lift up to 40 lb, including frequent stooping, bending and squatting.
- Fulfill a 20‑29 hour work week, with actual hours based on workload demand.
Required profile
- Experience in food service and knowledge of sanitation standards (desired).
- Ability to read and write.
- Ability to deal tactfully with the public.
- Cashier experience (desired but not required).
- Willingness to undergo criminal background and drug screening.
