Front Office Manager

About the role

The Front Office Manager will lead the front office team at Hotel Indigo Chicago Vernon Hills, ensuring guest service excellence and adherence to sustainability standards. This position reports to senior hotel leadership and offers a clear growth path toward Assistant General Manager and beyond.

Key responsibilities

• Interview, select, train, schedule, coach and support front office associates.
• Monitor guest satisfaction scores and implement actions to improve them.
• Oversee front office financial operations, accounting controls and budgeting.
• Review and approve capital budget items and manage vendor contracts.
• Ensure optimal room occupancy and prevent overbooking.
• Handle guest correspondence, incident logs and direct staff responses.
• Apply HHM’s EarthView sustainability guidelines and maintain safe work practices.

Required profile

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2 to 5 years of hospitality‑related experience.
