About the role
This part‑time position supports nutrition services at Logan Health’s Whitefish Café, handling food preparation, barista duties, dishwashing, and patient meal delivery in accordance with professional standards and Logan Health policies.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver food and beverages, follow recipes and production sheets, and maintain stocked service areas.
- Perform patient host duties, obtain meal selections, and deliver trays with compassionate service.
- Maintain sanitation standards, record food and equipment temperatures, and keep work areas clean and organized.
Required profile
- Minimum one year experience in health‑care or food‑service environment (preferred).
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, work independently and as part of a team, and maintain confidentiality.
- Strong customer‑service orientation and excellent communication skills.
Required skills
- ServSafe or Food Handlers certification.
- Barista experience and knowledge of food preparation and presentation.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
