Floating Community Manager – Multiple Virginia Locations

About the role

The Floating Community Manager oversees day‑to‑day operations across multiple Greystar communities in Charlottesville, Richmond, Virginia Beach and Hampton. This role ensures financial performance, operational efficiency, and compliance with company policies and housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in due diligence and takeover processes, including file audits, unit inspections, and onboarding.
• Provide performance improvement coaching and training to onsite team members.
• Contribute to budget development by analyzing financial statements and operational reports.
• Ensure timely rent and fee collection, prepare monthly financial status reports, and manage bank deposits.
• Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, and coordinate with accounting and owners.
• Control expenditures within approved budgets and manage petty cash.
• Oversee lease enforcement and related processes.

Required profile

• Experience in property or community management.
• Strong understanding of Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and related regulations.
• Ability to analyze financial data and develop budgets.
• Effective coaching and training skills for onsite staff.
