Factory Hygienist Specialist

About the role

Join Nestlé USA as a Factory Hygienist Specialist, leading hygiene and food safety programs for a large manufacturing facility. You will act as the guardian of sanitation, GMP, pest management and environmental monitoring, ensuring compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead implementation and continuous improvement of sanitation, integrated pest management, allergen control, foreign material control, hygienic design and zoning programs.
• Validate and maintain Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures, Master Sanitation Schedule and ensure risk‑based cleaning frequencies.
• Serve as the site subject‑matter expert for HACCP, GMP, environmental monitoring and food safety risk mitigation.
• Coordinate cross‑functional training, coaching and audits to embed a strong food‑safety culture.
• Manage third‑party hygiene service providers and drive performance against contractual objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Food Science/Technology, Food Sanitation or a related field.
• 3‑5+ years of food manufacturing experience in quality or food‑safety roles.
• Experience leading HACCP programs and cross‑functional food‑safety initiatives is preferred.
