Reconditioning Manager

About the role

You will own reconditioning operations for the NorCal market, building workflows, leading the floor, and developing the team. This ground‑floor position shapes the playbook that will scale across Ever’s expanding auto‑retail platform.

Key responsibilities

• Build and run day‑to‑day recon operations, meeting throughput, quality, and cost targets.
• Develop and enforce quality standards that reflect the Ever brand.
• Lead, coach, and grow a team of technicians and leads, creating career paths.
• Create, iterate, and document SOPs from scratch.
• Own production planning, capacity management, and continuous improvement through structured problem‑solving.
• Manage active work queues, WIP limits, and handoff documentation across all pipeline stages.

Required profile

• 5+ years managing operations in automotive, reconditioning, or lean manufacturing environments.
• Proven ability to build processes from the ground up.
• Experience developing frontline teams with a coaching mindset.
• Fluent in lean principles and hands‑on kaizen event execution.
• Strong analytical instincts, using data for decision‑making.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record and ability to work flexible schedules.
