Director of Product Innovation

About the role

Insomnia Cookies is seeking a Director of Product Innovation to shape the future of its iconic brand. This senior leader will define the strategic vision for new products, beverages, partnerships and experiences, turning ideas into national launches.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end innovation pipeline across baked goods, beverages, ice‑cream and adjacent categories.
• Design and implement a formal stage‑gate process from concept to launch, establishing clear criteria, owners and timelines.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Culinary, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance and Development to ensure ideas are executed on time, on brand and at scale.
• Identify and develop culturally relevant partnerships that unlock new flavors, formats and audiences.
• Lead product‑adjacent work such as packaging, equipment and operational readiness.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading product innovation or new‑product development in a consumer‑focused environment.
• Strong cross‑functional leadership skills with the ability to align diverse teams.
• Track record of building and scaling processes that move ideas from sketch to market.
• Excellent strategic thinking combined with hands‑on execution capability.
