Director of Financial Aid

About the role

Provide overall leadership to the Office of Financial Aid at UACCB, ensuring compliance with federal, state and institutional regulations, managing staff, budgeting and reporting, and enhancing student access to financial assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Direct daily operations and oversee delivery of financial assistance programs, maintaining compliance and incorporating innovative trends.
• Lead and manage Financial Aid staff, fostering ethical standards, professional development and collaboration with other departments.
• Prepare and monitor required reports and operating budgets, including audits, scholarship administration, IPEDS, FISAP, and loan default monitoring.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and at least 3 years of experience in a collegiate financial aid office.
• Supervisory experience with demonstrated leadership and management abilities.
• Commitment to the mission of a comprehensive two‑year college and understanding of student services operations.
