About the role
As a Specialist, North America Communications at Mastercard, you will shape and amplify storytelling across the United States to support the company’s business priorities, including payments, innovation, and brand initiatives. The role blends earned media, owned content, and integrated campaign support, ensuring communications align with marketing efforts and business objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute integrated communications strategies for North America, aligning earned, owned, and paid channels.
- Monitor the media landscape, build relationships with journalists and influencers, and secure coverage for regional announcements.
- Create compelling content such as press materials, bylines, blogs, social posts, and thought‑leadership pieces that translate complex payment and technology topics.
- Collaborate with regional and global marketing, product, and executive communications teams to ensure message consistency and campaign cohesion.
Required profile
- 2–4 years of experience in communications, media relations, or storytelling.
- Proven ability to translate complex topics into clear, engaging narratives for diverse audiences.
- Experience working with cross‑functional teams and aligning communications with business objectives.
- Strong understanding of the payments, technology, and financial services landscape.
