Civil Technician – Hands‑On Site Construction

About the role

The Civil Technician works on‑site performing a wide range of civil construction tasks for Betacom Incorporated in Alpharetta, GA. Under supervision, you will handle site preparation, equipment grounding, demolition, landscaping, and facility maintenance while adhering to OSHA safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare sites, install and ground equipment, and perform demolition work.
• Execute concrete forming, pouring, finishing, and light carpentry.
• Perform landscaping, grading, fence construction, and trenching/excavation.
• Install underground and above‑ground conduit and grounding systems.
• Conduct pre‑operational safety checks on tools, equipment, and vehicles.
• Maintain accurate time sheets, mileage reports, and inventory logs.
• Carry out light industrial steel installations such as ice bridges and equipment racks.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently or as part of a crew.
• Self‑motivated, quick learner with a professional attitude.
• Physical capability to lift over 70 lb and perform manual labor safely.
• Basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook).
