Survey Coordinator

About the role

The Survey Coordinator leads all aspects of assigned surveying projects, overseeing field crews, technical staff, and project quality. This full‑time, onsite position is based in Atlanta and requires deep expertise with modern surveying software and equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and forecast field survey crews.
• Contribute to safety plans and ensure compliance with all regulations.
• Manage data download, quality control, and adherence to project processes.
• Collaborate with project managers to develop, monitor, and adjust quality plans.
• Assist in project scoping, estimating, and supply management.
• Maintain field equipment, vehicles, and ensure their serviceability.
• Audit field tasks and coordinate training sessions.
• Conduct performance reviews for field staff.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of surveying experience.
• At least 5 years as a Party Chief (preferred).
• Licensed Land Surveyor/LSIT preferred but not mandatory.
• Proven ability to complete all technical aspects of surveying tasks.
• Strong communication and reputation within the surveying community.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record and ability to pass background and drug tests.
