About the role
The Office of Information and Communications Technology is seeking a senior leader to direct its Broadcast and Conferencing Support Section. Reporting to the Chief of Regional Service Management, the incumbent will shape strategy and oversee delivery of broadcast, audiovisual, hybrid meeting and conferencing services across the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Conceptualize, develop and manage major systems initiatives for broadcast, audiovisual, hybrid meeting and conferencing support.
- Provide technical and policy advice to senior managers on digital media systems, identify future needs and disseminate best practices.
- Lead a specialized team, plan work assignments, coach staff, participate in recruitment and develop training programs.
- Oversee procurements, prepare bid documents, negotiate contracts and coordinate inter‑dependent information systems.
- Develop and monitor performance measures, ensuring projects meet time, cost and quality standards.
- Set up and control technical support services for broadcast infrastructure and conferencing systems.
- Prepare and monitor budget, work program and spending plan.
- Develop standards, procedures and practices for a stable systems environment.
- Guide data collection and analysis to support data‑driven planning and reporting.
Required profile
- Extensive experience in managing broadcast, audiovisual and conferencing services in a large organization.
- Proven leadership skills with ability to mentor, evaluate and grow technical teams.
- Strong knowledge of systems design, integration and media asset management.
- Experience in procurement, contract negotiation and budget management.
- Ability to develop strategic plans, performance metrics and best‑practice guidelines.
