Center Quality Manager

About the role

The Center Quality Manager oversees the implementation and maintenance of quality assurance processes at our donor center, working closely with Corporate Quality Assurance and reporting to the Regional Performance Manager to ensure compliance with all applicable policies and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with SOPs, current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), and regulatory guidelines.
• Provide advice and consultation to management on daily quality assurance issues, including donor suitability and product quality.
• Perform final QA review and release of all product shipments and associated documentation.
• Collaborate with the Center Director to address audit findings and keep the center audit‑ready.
• Conduct staff observations and review equipment quality controls, cleanings, and releases.
• Ensure unsuitable product is quarantined and destroyed.
• Review maintenance requirements, sample and product shipments, and support non‑conformance and CAPA investigations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least three years of experience in a cGMP environment, preferably with plasma or whole blood.
• Supervisory experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work day and evening hours, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts.
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lb and sit or stand for extended periods.
• Consistent attendance and ability to meet ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).

What we offer

• Base salary $50,000–$55,000 per year plus up to 25 % monthly bonus, total compensation up to $70,000.
