About the role
Topix Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Business Development Specialist to drive sales of its medical‑grade skincare products to physicians, dermatologists, plastic surgeons and other skin‑care professionals in the New York area. The role combines consultative selling, education, and brand‑building support for our private‑label programs.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through networking, cold calling and referrals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing physician and skin‑care professional accounts.
- Conduct in‑person product presentations, demonstrations and educational sessions.
- Tailor solutions to customer needs and prepare sales proposals.
- Negotiate contracts and achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Collaborate with marketing to create promotional materials and campaigns.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
- Monitor industry trends, market conditions and competitor activities, providing feedback to management.
Required profile

- Willingness to live and work in New York City.
Required skills
