About the role
We are a growing law firm seeking a proactive Business Development and Events Coordinator to support our attorneys, manage external relationships, and drive internal firm events. This full‑time, on‑site role in Midtown Manhattan blends marketing, communications, and event planning to enhance our firm’s visibility and client engagement.
Key responsibilities
- Support attorneys in building external relationships and maintaining the pitch/proposal library.
- Coordinate all SPI (Strategic Partner Initiatives) materials and track pitch/proposal requests.
- Organize and manage internal firm events, including vendor coordination, inventory of promotional items, and on‑site audio/visual support.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Coordinator on PowerPoint presentations, website content, and social media posts.
- Attend assigned local trade shows and events, and assist with ad‑hoc projects, prospect research, and industry‑group support.
- Maintain and update the firm’s contact database using InterAction CRM, create targeted contact lists, and manage email templates and traffic (Constant Contact a plus).
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Experience using a CRM system (InterAction preferred).
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Understanding of law‑firm marketing principles, including branding, business development, competitive intelligence, and public relations.
