Bilingual Desktop Support Technician (English/Spanish) – Level II

About the role

Compucom Systems, Inc. is seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Desktop Support Technician at Level II to provide deployment, onsite support, and technical assistance to internal and external customers in Akron, OH. The role involves troubleshooting hardware and software across a range of devices and acting as a liaison for problem resolution and change management.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and support laptops, iPads, tablets, smartphones, and peripherals on‑site.
• Resolve complex or escalated technology issues and perform data transfers or image builds.
• Schedule and coordinate onboarding training for new hires across seven FirstEnergy office locations.
• Manage asset inventory and provide training on computer and mobile device usage.
• Perform account management tasks such as creating/modifying user accounts, permissions, and password resets.
• Document issues, updates, and resolutions in ServiceNow and ITNOW ticketing systems.
• Communicate status updates to end users in accordance with SLA guidelines.
• Install and maintain meeting‑room equipment including projectors, laptops, and videoconferencing systems.

Required profile

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Minimum 1 year of desktop or infrastructure support experience.
• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, networking, databases, and network security concepts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Outlook.
• Willingness to travel as required.
