About the role
Compucom Systems, Inc. is seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Desktop Support Technician at Level II to provide deployment, onsite support, and technical assistance to internal and external customers in Akron, OH. The role involves troubleshooting hardware and software across a range of devices and acting as a liaison for problem resolution and change management.
Key responsibilities
- Deploy and support laptops, iPads, tablets, smartphones, and peripherals on‑site.
- Resolve complex or escalated technology issues and perform data transfers or image builds.
- Schedule and coordinate onboarding training for new hires across seven FirstEnergy office locations.
- Manage asset inventory and provide training on computer and mobile device usage.
- Perform account management tasks such as creating/modifying user accounts, permissions, and password resets.
- Document issues, updates, and resolutions in ServiceNow and ITNOW ticketing systems.
- Communicate status updates to end users in accordance with SLA guidelines.
- Install and maintain meeting‑room equipment including projectors, laptops, and videoconferencing systems.
Required profile
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Minimum 1 year of desktop or infrastructure support experience.
- Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, networking, databases, and network security concepts.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Outlook.
- Willingness to travel as required.

- Hourly wage between $25.50 and $34.00.
