Cyber Data Protection & PKI Manager

About the role

Deloitte’s Cyber team is seeking a seasoned professional to lead data protection and PKI initiatives for our clients. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping organizations evaluate and implement robust encryption and key management strategies across diverse environments.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as subject‑matter expert on data protection, encryption, and PKI lifecycle management.
• Assist clients in designing, implementing, and operating solutions that mitigate data risks in cloud, on‑premises, and hybrid infrastructures.
• Manage deployment, monitoring, and health of certificate infrastructures to prevent downtime and security breaches.
• Lead client engagements, drive day‑to‑day execution, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Provide leadership to delivery teams, ensuring high‑quality work products are completed on time and within budget.
• Stay current on emerging encryption technologies such as post‑quantum cryptography, confidential computing, secure enclaves, and envelope encryption.
• Evaluate and recommend new tools to enhance data security posture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of professional experience in data protection and information security.
• 7+ years of hands‑on experience with PKI concepts and architecture.
• Proven ability to design and operate enterprise‑scale encryption and certificate management solutions.
