Assistant Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

Greystar is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor to support the maintenance team at its Seattle community. The role combines hands‑on technical work with supervisory duties to ensure the property’s buildings, grounds and amenities remain safe, functional and attractive for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete repairs, including appliance troubleshooting.
• Perform “make‑ready” preparations for new move‑ins, ensuring apartments meet quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of exterior buildings, parking areas and common spaces.
• Assist with vendor coordination, scheduling and oversight.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment.

Required profile

• Proven experience with hand and power tools, basic mechanical systems, painting and entry‑level carpentry.
• Ability to perform appliance repair and basic plumbing tasks.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
