Advanced Practice RN/PA – Spine

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a qualified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join its Spine team. This clinical staff position focuses on delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered spine care in an academic medical setting.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for spine conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, physical therapists, and other specialists to coordinate multidisciplinary care.
• Conduct and assist with spine‑related procedures and interventions as appropriate.
• Document patient encounters, treatment outcomes, and follow‑up plans in the electronic medical record.
• Participate in education and training activities for students, residents, and staff.

Required profile

• Current, unrestricted license as an APRN or PA in the state of Arkansas.
• Experience or strong interest in spine care and musculoskeletal medicine.
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
