Registered Nurse – Women & Infants Float Pool

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Women & Infants Float Pool. This position provides flexible, 12‑hour shift coverage (7 am‑7 pm) across women’s and infant care units, ensuring high‑quality patient care throughout the hospital.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to women and infants in a variety of clinical settings.
• Respond to patient needs promptly during assigned 12‑hour shifts.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans and interventions.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record system.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection‑control standards.

Required profile

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Ability to work rotating 7 am‑7 pm shifts in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
