Head Strength and Conditioning Coach

About the role

The University of Arkansas seeks a Head Strength and Conditioning Coach to lead the health and performance program for its student‑athletes. This senior position oversees the design, implementation, and evaluation of strength and conditioning services across all varsity sports.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage comprehensive strength and conditioning programs tailored to each sport.
• Supervise and mentor assistant coaches, trainers, and support staff.
• Coordinate with athletic trainers, coaches, and medical personnel to ensure athlete safety and optimal performance.
• Plan and conduct training sessions, performance assessments, and injury‑prevention initiatives.
• Maintain facilities, equipment, and documentation in compliance with university policies.

Required profile
