About the role
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join the Pediatric Allergy department. The APRN will provide high‑quality, evidence‑based care to children with allergic conditions, working closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Prescribe and manage medications, including immunotherapy, under collaborative practice agreements.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on allergy management and prevention strategies.
- Document clinical encounters accurately in the electronic health record.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research activities within the department.
Required profile
- Current, unrestricted APRN license in Arkansas.
- Certification in pediatric allergy or related specialty preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in pediatric clinical settings.
- Eligibility to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
