About the role
AVEVA is seeking an Account Manager II to join its Growth and Territory segment in Missouri. Based in a home‑office in Kansas City or St. Louis, you will drive new‑business acquisition and expand existing accounts by selling AVEVA’s industrial software and data‑as‑a‑service solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and engage prospects that have not previously used AVEVA solutions, securing new logos.
- Develop and nurture relationships with existing customers to generate upsell and cross‑sell opportunities, increasing annual recurring revenue.
- Create and execute detailed account plans, from prospecting to closing, to meet revenue targets and accurate forecasts.
- Collaborate with internal cross‑functional teams to support account management and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay current on industry trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings to position AVEVA’s digital twin platform effectively.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations that highlight the value and differentiation of AVEVA technology.
- Manage the sales pipeline using Salesforce and the MEDDPICC methodology, ensuring precise reporting.
Required profile
- Proven track record in direct sales with relationship‑building at all organizational levels.
- Experience selling SaaS or Data‑as‑a‑Service solutions.
- Strong business‑development background focused on acquiring new customers.
- Demonstrated ability to close complex software agreements and own the full sales cycle.
- Preferred experience in industrial, engineering, or automation software.
Required skills
- Salesforce CRM proficiency.
