About the role

The school seeks a dedicated 2nd‑grade teacher to deliver high‑quality instruction that enables every student to reach their full potential. This full‑time, onsite position involves classroom teaching, student supervision, and collaboration with staff and families.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain prompt and regular attendance and adhere to the school’s schedule.
• Provide instruction aligned with curriculum standards and instructional strategies.
• Communicate responsibly with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Manage student attendance, punctuality, and conduct in accordance with policies.
• Protect student health and safety and follow all county, state, and federal regulations.
• Complete required paperwork, lesson plans, and assessments on schedule.
• Participate in professional development and evaluation activities.
• Uphold professional appearance and represent the school positively.
• Perform additional duties assigned by administrators.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Valid Georgia teaching certificate.
• No prior teaching experience required.
• Ability to perform routine physical activities related to classroom duties.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of instructional strategies that connect curriculum to learners.
• Effective student management skills.
