Work with Children as a Behavioral Therapist

About the role

California Behavioral Treatment Center is seeking compassionate professionals to deliver one‑on‑one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children and adolescents with developmental disabilities in home, school, and community settings.

Key responsibilities

• Provide individualized 1:1 ABA therapy to build communication, social, and self‑help skills.
• Implement and follow behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under clinical supervision.
• Collect and record data on client progress and support treatment programs in various environments.
• Assist in developing treatment programs for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Required profile

• High School Diploma (required); Bachelor’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Child Development, Education, Communication Disorders, or related field preferred.
• Valid California driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to pass TB test, background check, and fingerprint clearance.
• Bilingual English/Spanish candidates strongly encouraged.

What we offer

• Hourly pay ranging from $22.00 to $26.00 based on experience and education.
• Mileage reimbursement and paid drive‑time compensation for travel between client locations.
