WordPress Digital Developer

About the role

The Digital Developer will maintain and enhance Black Duck's corporate website, ensuring reliability, performance, and alignment with marketing initiatives. Working within the Digital Marketing team, you will collaborate with paid media, analytics, UX, and external agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and update the WordPress site on WP Engine, including themes, plugins, and integrations.
• Implement front‑end and back‑end enhancements using PHP, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
• Perform routine maintenance, security updates, and environment coordination (dev / stage / prod).
• Monitor site performance, Core Web Vitals, uptime, and address SEO or paid‑media technical issues.
• Support Google Tag Manager and GA4 implementations, troubleshoot tracking, and assist with A/B testing.
• Manage media workflows with Cloudinary, update templates, and maintain metadata and image optimization.
• Collaborate with Digital Marketing, UX, Paid Media, Analytics, and external agencies to translate marketing requirements into technical updates.

Required profile

• Experience with WordPress site management and WP Engine hosting.
• Strong understanding of web performance metrics and SEO considerations.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and external partners.
