Wellness Nurse - Luxury Senior Living

About the role

The Experience Senior Living team is preparing for the opening of The Gallery Tampa, its first luxury senior living community, with resident move-ins expected in October 2026. It is recruiting a Wellness Nurse to help launch the community and support residents' health and wellbeing. Applications are being reviewed now, with hiring decisions expected about a month later.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as Charge Nurse in the absence of the Executive Director and Director of Health & Wellness
• Take part in medication management, including orders, administration, storage, documentation and compliance with state regulations, company policy and procedures
• Keep resident rooms and common areas clean and safe
• Maintain care partners and medication assistants, ensuring they know each resident's condition and can provide care professionally and sensitively
• Assist residents with self-medication and implement plans of care and change-of-condition plans recommended by the Resident Wellness Director
• Document care accurately and on time, complete electronic health record charting, assessments, accident and incident reports, and maintain relationships with residents, families and responsible parties
• Manage emergency situations such as disasters and fires, and ensure adequately trained care partners are available each shift

Required profile

• Licensed Vocational Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse license (LVN/LPN preferred)
• Two years of experience in a senior living environment preferred
• Basic First Aid and CPR certification
• Ability to work varied schedules including weekends, evenings and holidays
• Background screening in accordance with Florida law and company policy is required; some positions may need fingerprinting and Level 1 or Level 2 screening

• Strong organizational skills and ability to make independent decisions
• Neat appearance in line with dress code, and ability to adapt to changing demands
