Part-Time Neuro Interventional Radiologic Technologist with Call

About the role

Jupiter Medical Center, ranked #1 for safety, quality and patient satisfaction in Palm Beach County, is hiring a part-time Neuro Interventional Radiologic Technologist who must be able to take call. The technologist assists in routine diagnostic, complex invasive neuro and peripheral interventions, including cerebral aneurysm coils, vascular malformations and stroke interventions, and supports procedures referred by oncology, trauma, urology, gastroenterology and nephrology.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in neuro-interventional surgical procedures and invasive neuro and peripheral interventions
• Follow physician protocols and guidelines for diagnosis and treatment
• Order and stock supplies used in special procedures and the biplane suite
• Scrub and/or circulate in special procedure and biplane suites
• Apply aseptic technique and demonstrate knowledge of catheters, anatomy, positioning and angiography techniques
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required profile

• Current Florida license if applicable
• ARRT or RCIS, or obtain within 18 months
• American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers
• Minimum 1 year of neuro-interventional experience; 2 years clinical training or 1 year procedural experience preferred
• Proficient computer skills and excellent verbal and written communication
• Willingness to take call
