Wellness Nurse (LPN) - Full-Time

About the role

Monarch/Brandywine Senior Living is hiring a full-time Wellness Nurse (LPN) in Colts Neck, led by the community's Health and Wellness Director (RN). The nurse provides direct nursing care to residents with an emphasis on holistic wellness and helps supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the Certified Nursing Assistants. The schedule is 7am-3pm and/or 3pm-11pm.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the health, safety and well-being of all residents
• Assist in training and monitoring of medication administration
• Supervise care staff in line with state regulations and community policies
• Maintain clinical quality assurance under federal, state and local standards
• Conduct thorough resident assessments
• Promote high-quality service to residents while demonstrating the company's mission

Required profile

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with a current LPN license
• At least 2 years' experience in long-term care, assisted living, home health or a hospital setting preferred
• Experience working with residents with Alzheimer's or other related dementias
• Ability to handle multiple tasks
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations and nursing practices

Required skills

• Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel)
• Ability to learn new applications
