Care Manager Per-Diem

About the role

Monarch/Brandywine Senior Living is hiring a Care Manager for a per-diem position covering all shifts, reporting to the Health & Wellness Director. This is a non-exempt, hourly position paid $21.00 per hour. The Caregiver assists residents in all aspects of their daily life as outlined in each resident's care plan.

Key responsibilities

• Provide resident care including bathing, dressing, toileting and feeding as outlined in the care plan
• Maintain the safety, comfort, dignity and confidentiality of all residents
• Escort residents to meals and activities
• Ensure assigned residents are clean, neatly dressed and groomed, safe and fed during their shifts
• Document all services provided to assigned residents during the shift
• Report any change of condition in a resident immediately to the supervisor

Required profile

• Certified Nursing Assistant and/or DHS certification plus a high school diploma
• Knowledge and experience working with the elderly population, preferred with dementia experience
• Able to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, balance, stoop, kneel and crouch, and to lift or carry up to 50 lbs with proper body mechanics
