Part-Time Certified Med Tech

About the role

Monarch Communities Senior Living in Colts Neck is hiring a part-time Certified Med Tech. The role provides quality care and services to residents and their families, including medication administration according to each resident's care plan and physician's orders. Pay is $24.00-$25.00 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and/or assist with self-administration of prescribed medication to residents and maintain related medical records under the delegation of the RN, including supervision of the LPN.
• Complete required annual medication training per state requirements and company medication training modules.
• Provide resident care so that care needs are met according to the resident's care plan.
• Maintain medical records and written documentation that are accurate, complete and compliant with federal and state regulations, certification standards and legal and ethical standards.
• Maintain the comfort, privacy and dignity of residents in the delivery of services.
• Attend all scheduled in-service training and ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations and community policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including care tasks and assignments delegated by management.

Required profile

• Current New Jersey state CMA certification and a valid NJ HHA or CNA certification.
• Preferred: at least six months of experience working with seniors in assisted living, home health, hospital or long-term care settings.
• Able to work some weekends.
