Weekend Physical Therapist – Home Health

About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to provide weekend home‑health visits in the Fayetteville area. The position can be full‑time, part‑time, or per‑diem and covers Friday‑Monday, Friday‑Sunday, or Saturday‑Sunday schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct home visits to adult and geriatric clients across Cumberland, Harnett, and Hoke counties.
• Perform diagnostic assessments such as joint range of motion, strength, balance, gait analysis, and safety evaluations.
• Develop and adjust individualized care plans that include therapeutic exercises, gait training, and wound‑care interventions.
• Educate clients and families on rehabilitative activities to promote independence and safety.
• Document all observations, interventions, and evaluations using a tablet‑based electronic medical record system.

Required profile

• Current North Carolina Physical Therapist license.
• Minimum one year of recent clinical experience as a licensed PT.
• Graduation from an APTA‑approved PT program.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and solve problems.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Strong computer skills for tablet documentation.
