Weekend Home Health Aide – CNA/HHA

About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide to provide compassionate care to clients on weekend shifts. This position offers a shift differential for weekend or overnight work.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
• Perform light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, and bed making.
• Support mobility through ambulation assistance, transfers, and use of mechanical lifting devices.
• Conduct vital sign checks, oral feeding, and medication assistance.
• Provide range‑of‑motion exercises and other therapeutic activities.

Required profile

• Minimum one year of work experience in a home health setting.
• Current HHA certificate with in‑person clinical training or a CNA certificate of at least 75 hours.
• Active CNA license in good standing with the state board.

Required skills

• Ability to perform basic nursing care tasks and home management duties.
• Proficiency in using mechanical lifting devices and monitoring vital signs.
