Web Developer (WordPress/PHP + Ruby on Rails)

About the role

Power is seeking an experienced Web Developer to join its Business Technology team near Philadelphia. You will primarily build and maintain WordPress‑based marketing sites while also contributing to the core Nitro platform built with Ruby on Rails and React.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and launch new features for internal and external websites.
• Ensure high performance, availability, and reliability of WordPress CMS.
• Manage all technical aspects of the CMS, including updates and security.
• Contribute to full‑stack feature work on Ruby on Rails and React applications.
• Collaborate within a cross‑functional Scrum team alongside architects, UX designers, and developers.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of professional experience with WordPress and PHP.
• Strong understanding of WordPress ecosystem and best practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a Scrum environment.
• Experience or willingness to work with Ruby on Rails and React is a plus.
• Passion for building high‑visibility, user‑focused web experiences.
