About the role
The Livingston Parish Public Schools district is seeking a reliable Warehouseman and Truck Driver to support textbook and library deliveries to its schools. This 12‑month position combines warehouse duties with safe transportation of educational materials.
Key responsibilities
- Load the delivery truck with textbooks and library items for distribution to LPPS schools.
- Assist in pulling textbook orders and preparing shipments.
- Coordinate pickup and delivery schedules for textbooks across the district.
- Support the textbook supervisor with additional tasks as assigned.
Required profile
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: at least 2 years of warehouse experience.
- Must obtain a Louisiana Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Physically capable of lifting heavy objects.
Required skills
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) – required for operating the delivery truck.
