Warehouse Associate – Corrugated Cardboard Recycler

About the role

We are looking for motivated Warehouse Associates to join Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) on a permanent, full‑time basis. The role focuses on collecting and removing corrugated cardboard gondolas throughout our facilities, ensuring clean and safe work areas during night shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Use a manual pallet jack to pick up full gondolas (large boxes or trash containers) and replace them with empty ones in assigned zones.
• Transport filled cardboard gondolas to the designated baler or compactor and unload them as instructed.
• Keep the surrounding areas free of debris, dust, and trash by sweeping, mopping and wiping down container zones.
• Maintain clear walkways (“Green Mile” traffic areas) at all times for safety.
• Organize and sort the baler/compactor zones to preserve order.
• Perform additional cleaning tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Ability to operate a manual pallet jack and lift loads up to 75 lb.
• Physical capability to lift, push, pull and carry objects up to 50 lb, and to stand or walk for 10‑12 hours per shift.
• Comfort with frequent bending, stretching and reaching above and below waist level.
• Read and interpret safety, operation and maintenance documents.
