Warehouse Associate – 2nd Shift

About the role

The Warehouse Associate works the 2nd shift (3:00 pm‑11:30 pm) in Cardinal Health’s Consumer Health Logistics Center in Columbus, OH. The role supports inbound and outbound warehouse activities, ensuring products are received, stored, picked, packed and shipped accurately and safely.

Key responsibilities

• Follow established processes to fulfill orders, including picking, quality checks, packing and preparing shipments.
• Cross‑train in multiple warehouse areas and assist with projects as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks.
• Operate material handling equipment (order picker, forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, walk‑ie rider) after certification.

Required profile

• Ability to lift up to 50 lb and work at heights of 20‑30 ft.
• Comfort with bending, reaching, stooping, standing for an entire shift.
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
• Basic proficiency in English for reading and writing documents.
• Flexibility to work overtime and meet performance quotas.

Required skills

• Operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Basic computer or point‑of‑sale system usage.
