VP/SVP, Head of Business Operations

About the role

zero-hash is seeking a senior leader to build and scale a Business Operations function from the ground up. Reporting to executive leadership, you will own five pillars—business intelligence, AI operational rollout, procurement, new product/market analysis, and organizational design—turning each into a durable sub‑department.

Key responsibilities

• Build a core BI function with unified reporting, KPI frameworks, and real‑time dashboards for executives and the board.
• Own the enterprise‑wide AI adoption roadmap, identifying high‑value use cases, creating business cases, and establishing compliance guardrails.
• Establish a formal procurement organization covering vendor onboarding, evaluation, contract negotiation, spend management, and risk oversight.
• Lead market sizing, competitive analysis, and opportunity assessment for new products, verticals, and geographies.
• Provide headcount planning, org‑structure recommendations, and process redesign to support scaling operations.

Required profile

• 12–15+ years of progressive experience in business operations, strategy, or corporate development.
• 5–8+ years in FinTech; experience with crypto, digital assets, payments, or banking infrastructure is a strong plus.
• Proven track record of building functions from scratch and driving technology adoption at scale.
• Excellent executive communication skills with experience presenting to C‑suite and board audiences.
